New Vision for Education. Unlocking the Potential of Technology<\/a>\u00bb en el que describen su visi\u00f3n de las competencias necesarias para los trabajadores del S. XXI y el papel que la tecnolog\u00eda educativa debe jugar en su consecuci\u00f3n. Mi amigo\u00a0Fernando Trujillo (@fsaez) me lo ha mandado y no puedo resistir la tentaci\u00f3n de citar algunos fragmentos (las negritas son m\u00edas):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>In this report, we undertook a detailed analysis of the research literature to define what we consider to be the 16 most critical \u201c21st-century skills\u201d. Our study of nearly 100 countries reveals large gaps in selected indicators for many of these skills \u2013 between developed and developing countries, among countries in the same income group and within countries for different skill types. These gaps are clear signs that <strong>too many students are not getting the education they need to prosper in the 21st century and countries are not finding enough of the skilled workers they need to compete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Los fines de la educaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n claros: competir como \u00abskilled workers\u00bb en este valle de l\u00e1grimas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfY cu\u00e1les son las\u00a0 \u00abmost critical\u00bb\u00a0competencias? Cito (las negritas son nuevamente m\u00edas):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 10\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Numerous innovations in the education technology space are beginning to show potential in improving education and helping address skills gaps. <strong>To help lower the cost and improve the quality of education, education technology is being used to<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find creative solutions to fundamental challenges in many countries, such as a <strong>lack of well-trained teachers<\/strong> and broadly accessible technology infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Make education available <strong>to a broader audience at a much lower cost or provide higher quality instruction at the same price<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enable easier <strong>scaling up<\/strong> of promising models within local markets and <strong>the transfer of best practices across markets<\/strong> in ways that can be sustained over the long term<\/li>\n<li>Gain insight into how and what students learn in real time by <strong>taking advantage of the greater variety, volume and velocity of data<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Increase teacher productivity<\/strong>, freeing up valuable time from tasks such as <strong>grading and testing, which can be used for differentiated teaching of competencies and character qualities.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pero traquilos, los autores tambi\u00e9n saben qu\u00e9\u00a0did\u00e1ctica es la m\u00e1s efectiva: \u00aban instructional system known as the closed loop is necessary to address skills gaps\u00bb:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/elbonia.cent.uji.es\/jordi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-03-29-a-les-12.25.29.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3287\" src=\"http:\/\/elbonia.cent.uji.es\/jordi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-03-29-a-les-12.25.29.png\" alt=\"closed loop\" width=\"965\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elbonia.cent.uji.es\/jordi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-03-29-a-les-12.25.29.png 965w, https:\/\/elbonia.cent.uji.es\/jordi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-03-29-a-les-12.25.29-300x131.png 300w, https:\/\/elbonia.cent.uji.es\/jordi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-03-29-a-les-12.25.29-766x334.png 766w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 965px) 100vw, 965px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Si no fuera porque quiero ser educado dir\u00eda que \u00abel closed-loop\u00bb se parece mucho al modelo\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ADDIE_Model\" target=\"_blank\">ADDIE <\/a>de toda la vida y que\u00a0para ese viaje, francamente, no hacen falta alforjas. Pero terminemos ya.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfY, como dir\u00eda Quino, qui\u00e9n\u00a0ha perpetrado\u00a0todo esto? La respuesta se obtiene mirando qui\u00e9n son los autores del informe: el \u00abTeam\u00bb, los \u00abAdvisors\u00bb, los \u00abInterviewees\u00bb, etc. Como son gente muy educada no hablan de sus respectivos negocios.
